PAN card fees when physical card is not required

When the PAN Card applicant mentions in the application that they do not need any physical PAN card, the e-PAN card is sent on the email id of the applicant. The applicable fees are :-

Charges for reprint of PAN card

A reprint of PAN Card may be required if the older copy is damaged or there is any change or correction required in the document. Modes of fee payment for PAN Card

The various modes of payment for PAN card are –

  1. Demand Draft or Cheque: Fee can be paid either by demand draft or by cheque. It should be in favour of ‘Protean – PAN’ and payable at Mumbai. On the back side of the demand draft or cheque, the name of the applicant should be mentioned along with the acknowledgment number.
  2. Online Payment: You can use NSDL or Protean websites to pay online with your debit or credit card or net banking.
  3. E-wallets: If you are an e-wallet user, you can use them to make payment for your PAN Card. Some of the e-wallets available are Freecharge, GPay, Paytm etc to make online payments.
